Suspensions
Suspensions: train suspension systems
Train suspension systems are made of rubber-metal. With designs studied to ensure extreme flexibility under load, these components are used as primary and secondary suspensions for trains, trams and underground trains.
They can be made in various geometries, more or less complex, as required. At SGA, we manufacture coaxial cylindrical suspensions (or conical springs), double wedge suspensions (or chevron springs), rubberised springs, and multilayer rubber springs.

Primary or secondary suspensions: what is the difference?
SGA offers a wide range of rubber-metal suspension models for all rail sector manufacturer needs, and in particular for trains, trams and underground trains.
We manufacture primary suspensions – the anti-vibration mounts placed between the bushing and the frame of the bogie – and secondary suspensions – the anti-vibration mounts located between the bogie and the carriage.
